Description
Responsibilities
Responsible for the running of the shift – ensuring staff follow SSoWs and SWIs.
As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse, including manually supporting the team with tasks as and when required
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved
Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Ensure that all MHE is used in an appropriate manner, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are sufficient numbers of trained employees to meet business demands
Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinar
