WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
· Proven leadership experience in a similar supervisory role
· Strong communication and team coordination skills
· Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
· Valid Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
· Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to site location)

· Supervise and support warehouse operatives to ensure efficient order fulfilment
· Ensure all orders are processed in a timely and compliant manner
· Act as the first point of contact for team members, escalating issues to senior management when needed
· Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards at all times
· Monitor and report on employee performance and progress against targets
· Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse
· Accurately pick and pack customer orders
· Oversee container loading and unloading
· Operate a forklift truck (where applicable) to move and store palletised stock
· Placing pallets into racking
· Replenishing stock locations
· Loading/unloading containers
