Description
Description • Ensures the Vision, Mission, and Values of the company are the guiding principles of daily business practices • Works with supervisors and other leaders to provide strategic direction to Warehouse Associate team • Trains, coaches, and provides leadership to Warehouse Associates on all assigned functions • Provides operational assistance to team during high volume periods or to augment for manpower shortages • Ensures all training documentation of the team is completed and submitted in a timely manner • Ensures a safe work environment by correcting and or mediating any observed safety procedure violation or unsafe work environment issue • Ensures all equipment utilized by the team is in good and safe working order and reports any maintenance requirements to the Warehouse Manager • Ensures the accurate counting and recording of inbound product • Accurately utilizes assigned system locations to locate and record product • Researches inventory discrepancies and performs routine cycle counts, moves, and returns • Adheres to all safety policies and guidelines and complies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements • Travel to customer or other company facilities as needed Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent education required • One to three years of warehouse experience including receiving, order fulfillment and some inventory control preferred • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel & Word) • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction in English • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills • Must maintain OSHA Material Handling Equipment License • Ability to work in an unregulated temperature environment • Ability to lift and or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
