Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Provide day-to-day direction to the warehouse team, including daily toolbox meetings and task allocation
- Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
- Act as the safety lead for the warehouse, conducting daily walk-throughs and addressing hazards promptly
- Coach, onboard and manage the day-to-day performance of warehouse staff
- Oversee stock receipting, storage, stocktakes and accurate record-keeping
- Coordinate container unloading and assist the Distribution Manager to roster staff around delivery and container schedules
- Maintain warehouse equipment and tools, and keep the site safe and well organised
- Closely follow Safety processes and all procedures
- Work in alignment with the Team Work Fencing Vision and Mission
Skills and Qualifications (Essential):
- Proven experience supervising or leading a warehouse team
- Current forklift licence
- A strong but fair leadership style, with the ability to coach and get the best from your team
- A proactive, hands-on approach with genuine initiative
- Sound understanding of warehouse safety and WHS practices
- Manual or HR-B driver’s licence highly regarded
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trade Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Karratha Warehouse and Trade Centre. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong operational, customer service, and people management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As the Trade Centre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse and trade centre operations while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, stock control, and team performance.
This role combines operational management, customer service, logistics coordination, and warehouse duties, making it ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Karratha Warehouse and Trade Centre
- Plan operations to maximise efficiency and achieve stock control targets
- Oversee office administration processes including documentation, data entry, and reporting
- Facilitate monthly site safety meetings and conduct regular HSE audits
- Maintain compliance with company HSE standards, including incident reporting and root cause analysis
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and maintain strong customer relationships
- Pick and despatch orders, receive and put away stock, tint paint, and load vehicles
- Support and implement improvements to tinting and warehouse processes
- Operate and maintain forklifts and assist with manual handling tasks
- Process sales orders and provide pricing and product availability information to customers
- Manage warehouse layout and support product range expansion initiatives
- Conduct stock cycle counts and annual stocktakes
- Manage purchasing, invoicing, dispatch, and SLOB control
- Allocate tasks and support the ongoing development of Trade Centre staff
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal sales teams and customers
- Become proficient in SAP and internal systems relating to customer service, logistics, procurement, and supply planning
About You
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse, trade centre, or operations management role
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capability
- Experience with stock control, logistics, and warehouse operations
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems experience
- A commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- A current forklift licence
- A customer-focused attitude and a hands-on approach to work
