Warehouse Team Leader Weir Minerals Perth Airport Onsite We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee Despatch or Receivals operations. This role is pivotal in driving accuracy, efficiency, and safety across all warehouse activities—from picking and packing to inventory control and staff development—while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Team Leadership & Operations Oversight Lead Despatch or Receivals teams during PM shift, managing all picking, packing, unpacking, putaway, and yard activities while ensuring resource allocation meets operational demands. Inventory & Quality Control Oversee cycle counts, stock checks, and packaging standards; liaise with Inventory Controller to resolve discrepancies and report non-compliant goods using CARs. System & Process Management Utilize SAP and IFS systems for stock receipts, goods issuing, and packing; ensure TPM checks are completed and Toolbox meetings are held regularly. Training, Development & Performance Management Conduct staff inductions, ongoing training, one-on-ones, and disciplinary or supportive conversations to build team capability and maintain high performance. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Proven experience in large and complex warehouse environments. Tertiary qualifications in warehousing desirable Excellent communication skills Experience leading teams Proficient in SAP, IFS and Microsoft Office suite Current High-Risk Forklift license and overhead Crane ticket Applications will close on 31st October 2025 Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
