THE OPPORTUNITY

BlueScope are looking for the next generation of talented and motivated Warehouse Team Members to join the Distribution team based in Westall, Victoria. The Distribution business includes quality brands such as Orrcon Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp and Impact Steel.

No previous experience? No problem! We will provide you with all the on-the-job training and support needed to develop you in your new career.
We have opportunities for a day shift, afternoon and night shift – offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle needs, supporting you to balance your work and family life.

Indicative times for our shift patterns are Monday to Friday as follows:

  • Day shift is 6am – 2pm
  • Afternoon shift is 2pm – 10pm

    • Night shift is 10pm – 6am
      (*Night shift week commence 10pm Sunday, and concludes at 6am Friday.)
      These opportunities include a competitive hourly and the eligibility to receive performance bonuses based on business results.
Responsibilities

In this important role, you’ll help protect the safety of our team while ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards

  • contribute to a safe, supportive workplace where everyone looks out for each other
  • operate forklifts and cranes with confidence (we’ll provide full training if you’re new to it)
  • use well-maintained machinery to help create quality products
  • carefully pack, strap, and conduct quality checks for our steel products, based on customer requirements
  • take pride in keeping your workplace clean, well-maintained, and ready for the next shift team to use
  • Conduct all tasks and duties with a high level of customer centricity
