WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Warehouse Technician to receive incoming goods and manage their subsequent handling.
You will have experience working in a stock management environment and be flexible, proactive and self-motivated.
It would be beneficial if you have completed relevant forklift training but not essential.
You will have a good standard of English and Maths at GSCE or A level and be confident using various IT systems (including Excel).

The working hours are 7am – 3pm (Monday to Friday) at our site in Dominion Way, Worthing with paid overtime available during busy periods.

You will be involved in the following:

• Taking receipt of incoming material into the warehouse
• Visually inspecting and accepting deliveries
• “Booking in” materials and creating unpassed notes
• Handling incoming material and placing in correct location
• Operating warehouse equipment and transport as required to manage stock
• Delivering materials to departments for further storage or testing as required
• Completing all necessary documentation to GMP standards
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times in line with GMP/GDP and visual management
• Reporting all GMP discrepancies to manager
• Assisting with stock checks and stock control
• Ensuring all materials are scrapped in line with procedures
• Ensuring accurate recording and documentation is maintained, minimising number of errors
• Ensuring the warehouse schedules and deliveries are maintained
