Job Summary Responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of client orders, including gathering, assembling, and verifying supplies for shipment or delivery, while supporting inventory control, quality assurance, and general warehouse operations. Duties and Responsibilities Gathers supplies for orders in preparation for shipment/delivery and performs quality checks. Assembles, labels, and provides supplies as required. Participates in quality assurance activities as directed. Uses inventory management systems to pick inventory. Ensures inventory is maintained on the shelf for packing customer orders and shelves are properly labelled. Performs general housekeeping duties in the department on a daily basis. Files documents appropriately. Verifies information on packing slip to ensure that the correct product is being sent to the correct recipients. Maintains freezer packs in sufficient quantity and quality to ensure temperature-controlled shipping. Participates in ongoing training required due to revision of Standard Operating Procedures. Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities, education programs, and department/branch meetings. Nice to have forklift experience. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education/Experience) High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Basic computer skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to organize workload for efficient use of time. Ability to function independently. Organized and disciplined. Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, bend, walk, crouch, and sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required for this role and employee must notify supervisor regarding any health issues that may affect ability to lift. Physical Demands The employee occasionally works near moving parts The noise level in the environment is usually moderate
