Description PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Technician to join our Biomed Repair team. As a Warehouse Technician you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfection, testing of a diverse range of high tech and low tech Respiratory and Monitoring equipment. This also requires repairing medical equipment, data entry, barcoding, charge of maintenance files and equipment tracking, sends out all equipment that is due for servicing/certification and handles all other related documentation. Also handles all equipment recalls, follows all FDA’s regulations and ACHC regulations and all other duties that apply. To learn more about our company, visit us at PromptCare In-home Respiratory and Infusion Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri Job Location: New Providence, NJ Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred HME equipment repair experience preferred Warehouse experience preferred Equipment manufacturer repair certification preferred Mechanically inclined Good verbal/communication/organizational skills Strong technical skills with a good knowledge base Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Testing of all Respiratory, Monitoring, related equipment Completes and documents routine maintenance checks of all appropriate equipment Barcodes all equipment, bench test new equipment when delivered from manufacturers Performs minor maintenance repairs on equipment following all manufacture and company guidelines Tags equipment appropriately, bags and stocks onto patient-ready areas per Policies and Procedures Clean and disinfect incoming equipment per safety standards Keep all patients, employees and financial information confidential, in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulations Accepts other duties as assigned and completes them effectively Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
