The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the duties of rebuilding warewashing machines, operating a forklift in a warehouse setting and installing warewashing equipment, as needed. The primary focus will be on ensuring a smooth operation, minimizing downtime of warewashing equipment and providing excellent customer service. The Warehouse Technician will report to The Chemical Department Manager. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Drive a Van owned by The Company. Rebuilding Warewashing Machines - responsible for repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding industrial warewashing equipment. This includes but not limited to, disassembling and reassembling machines, installing new parts, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Requires knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and plumbing. Operating a Forklift- responsible for operating a forklift to move, lift, transport warewashing equipment and products in a warehouse environment. This includes loading and unloading, stacking and organizing materials. Requires knowledge of forklift operations and safety procedures. Installation and Setup:- responsible for installing and setting up a wide variety of products and warewashing equipment. This includes unpacking and assembling products, connecting electrical and plumbing systems, and testing equipment to ensure proper functioning. Requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of technical systems. Qualifications & Requirements: Certification or training in forklift operations, preferred. Clean DMV record is required and must be able to submit a current 5-year DMV Driver's Record. Strong knowledge of warewashing equipment, the installation, maintenance, and repair processes. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation standards in the foodservice industry. Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety guidelines. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be visually able to inspect machines. Must be able to work in tight spaces. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, squat, turn/twist body, push and/or pull, stand, kneel and walk. Work Conditions: This is a customer facing role - ensure great customer service from warehouse to front door. Must be able to safely drive in adverse weather conditions. Will work in close proximity to others. Often exposed to hot and cold temperatures, such as when working near ovens or freezers. Often work in a noisy and distracting environment. Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (30 minute unpaid lunch) *work hours subject to change based on operational needs* Position: Full time, Non-Exempt Salary Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour DOE.
