Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and play a vital role in the success and continued growth of the company. The stores team is at the core of our operations, ensuring that all site-based staff receive the necessary equipment to carry out their duties. This role may also involve some facilities-related duties.
Shifts alternate weekly:
07:00 – 15:30 or 10:30 – 19:00 Monday to Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loading/unloading equipment from vehicles
  • Conducting pre-user vehicle checks
  • Maintaining the integrity of the stores management system
  • Assisting in inventory management, including labelling and tracking stock items
  • Reporting equipment damage and defects
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
  • Ensuring all equipment is calibrated and serviced as required
  • Maintaining compliance with processes such as Goods In, Goods Out, and Quarantine
  • Supporting facility maintenance, ensuring premises are well-kept and all defects are addressed promptly
  • Carrying out general maintenance tasks (e.g., minor repairs, painting, furniture assembly)
  • Updating the facility management system in real-time
