You are familiar with receiving, storing, and issuing equipment, materials, tools and supplies as well as maintaining inventory. You have computer skills which include the Microsoft Office Suite and are able and willing to learn other Microsoft programs. You understand how the inventory workflow ties into the accounting process. As a Warehouse Technician, you would report to the Warehouse Supervisor. This is a safety sensitive position. What You Do Perform all work duties in a safe manner, in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, and company policy. Maintain warehouse, job site work areas, and equipment so that it is safe, neat, clean and orderly. Receive incoming equipment, material, supplies, tools, and other items. Count and verify receipt against purchase orders and/or packing slips. Check for damage or breakage and report any discrepancies. Put away stock items in correct storage areas or bins. Fill orders and issue supplies, tools, equipment, and other materials from stock. Take inventory of stored materials and prepare reports on stock levels. Maintain minimum/maximum inventory levels for key parts. Ensure all receipts and issues of part numbers are processed prior to updating inventory records from cycle counts. Reconcile cycle counts. Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventories of stock including posting and/or typing on storeroom records. Checks physical inventory against records or other documentation. Advise when stock needs to be ordered to maintain desired inventory levels. Perform routine storeroom office duties such as checking receipt and purchase orders, purchasing receipt data entry, typing shipping invoices and freight bills, posting, and filing. Operate stores vehicles, assemble loads onto truck or automobile, deliver to point of use, and unload or assist in unloading. Maintain and ensure vehicles are serviced as necessary. Report on any vehicle operating difficulties issues. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring Able to work in hot, cold, wet, or dry conditions. Able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Able to walk long distances, climb ladders, climb stairs, and climb stockpiles. Able to stoop and crawl under and into enclosed spaces. Able to work well with others. Exhibit good oral and written communication skills. Organization skills. Self-starter. Computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP. Experience with inventory control. Understand inventory workflow through the Accounts Payable and Accounting processes. Valid Driver License.
