We are looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our sales team and help us continue our mission of transforming lives through mobility solutions. Scope The Warehouse Technician serves as the primary owner of warehouse control, organization, and inventory accuracy. This role ensures that all medical equipment whether new, demo, or rental is verified, documented, and processed with precision. By maintaining a highly structured environment and leading the equipment to return workflow, the Warehouse Technician ensures the branch is always "service-ready" for our clients and technical teams. Position Reports To: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor or Branch Manager (depending on the location) Role and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Shipping & Receiving * Receive and verify all incoming equipment against purchase orders; ensure all documentation is 100% complete before items are processed. * Ensuring every asset is tracked in the system before release. * Collaborate in design and maintainance of defined locations for parts, hardware, and components. Ensure the warehouse is clearly labeled and structured for maximum efficiency. * Prepare and receive transfers of equipment from other National Seating & Mobility (NSM) locations. * Notify Customer Service Representatives and Seating & Mobility Specialists when items have arrived. * Report damage and/or discrepancies upon receipt to your manager. * Create accurate shipping orders and labels. * Assist in the receipt, processing, and unpacking of inventory. * Ensure documents are filed * Prioritize and re-prioritize daily activities to meet business (branch) needs and deadlines, as decided by your manager. If in doubt, ask your manager. Cleaning & Disinfecting Equipment * Oversee equipment returns. Implementing a dedicated "return block" of time daily for cleaning, inspection, and re-entry. * Clean and disinfect equipment returned from rentals or demonstrations. * Organize cleaning area to ensure clean equipment and unclean/soiled equipment are clearly marked and separated. Anyone working in the branch should be able to easily read labels / signs. * Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling, cleaning, and disinfecting equipment, including gloves, masks, etc. * Use appropriate cleaning methods and solutions for items being cleaned and disinfected. * Clean floor, high rack frames, etc. * Clear snow outside the warehouse, near entrances; salt ground to avoid slips/injuries. Process Mobility Devices and Equipment * Put inventory away in the warehouse in a timely manner. * Organize the warehouse to ensure efficiency and avoid injuries/accidents. * Inspect rental equipment returned for damage or missing components. * Track down medical equipment for customers from our other locations. * Assemble motorized beds, lift-out chairs, commodes, and other home medical devices.  Health & Safety * Comply with safety policies and procedures. If you are uncertain about something or have a safety suggestion, see your manager. * Use proper PPE for the job or task at hand. If in doubt, ask your manager. * Keep the warehouse area tidy and free from potential hazards to yourself and others. * Be aware of public safety and security measures in place to prevent injuries. * Understand how to handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials in a safe manner. * Participate in monthly workplace Health & Safety inspections. Technical Support * Assist with large installations, for example- elevators, stairlifts * Assist other Technicians with parts and other medical equipment stock. * Will do small repairs on equipment * Delivery of equipment when needed * Ensure that the clients understand the work that is being performed on their equipment when walk-in Inventory * Lead monthly inventory counts (stabilizing to quarterly); investigate and resolve any discrepancies immediately. * Maintain equipment tags in warehouse * Inventory preparation and support * Responsible for tracking demo equipment * Organize and maintain stockroom * Update team on ETA for orders Additional Support * Remove cardboard and bagged garbage from the warehouse. * Add and remove products as directed. * Assist Sales and Service personnel as needed. * Assist other Technicians with parts and other medical equipment stock. * Learn new products to help identify equipment and components by attending in-store training sessions. Other duties as assigned that include inventory or any other task.
