Job Details Job Location: Main - MASON, OH 45040 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: 1st Shift Job Category: Distribution - Shipping General Purpose of Position: To be an effective and efficient contributor to the Warehouse Operations team Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Duties/Responsibilities 1 Follow all SOPs, COPs and cGMPs as directed 2 Ability to demonstrate continued growth and understanding of competencies within Distribution including but not limited to shipping, receiving and replenishment 3 Prepare for daily production and product launches 4 Eligible for leadership training and recognition 5 Work overtime hours for order fulfillment or product launches, as requested by Distribution management 6 Construct corrugate boxes daily (as needed) 7 Transfer products in the system to replenish depleted SKUs for specific warehouse locations for order fulfillment 8 Input, update and retrieve information using the JD Edwards and shipping systems 9 Create move slips through the JDE system to pick products in order to fulfill an order (verify that the correct product, quantity, and lot number are being shipped) 10 Fill orders with high accuracy (at least 99% accuracy) 11 Achieve and maintain warehouse metrics to Distribution standards or managerial requests (e.g. 5% of total yearly volume; e.g 2% of quarterly volume) 12 Update and maintain an inventory log for selected products and ensure accuracy within the JDE system 13 Assist in loading and unloading trucks 14 Operate a sit-down and stand-up (reach truck) forklift and maintaining OSHA standards 15 Accurately receive new inventory and enter into JD Edwards, complete paperwork and notify QA 16 Re-skid product if necessary 17 Deliver non-product receivables 18 Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and mark maintenance logs accordingly 19 Order and track supplies 20 Perform cycle counts as directed by management 21 Effectively communicate issues to the appropriate department(s) when appropriate 22 Willing to analyze Distribution related activities and to make suggested improvements Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: JD Edwards experience Good oral and written communication skills Must be able to complement and contribute in a team environment Previous forklift experience Education and Experience: College Degree preferred Previous warehouse experience preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: Required to stand, sit, talk, see and hear. Required to walk, lift and move up to 100 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate controls/equipment/computer. Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. The work environment is indoors. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderately quiet to loud.
Responsibilities
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for following SOPs and ensuring accurate order fulfillment while maintaining warehouse metrics. They will also assist in loading and unloading trucks and operate forklifts as needed.
