We are currently seeking a reliable Non-CDL Warehouse Transfer Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between our warehouses and ensuring that they are delivered safely and on time. This role would split time loading, unloading, and driving our transfer truck to our 14 stores, located in central Pennsylvania, as well as, providing general help in the warehouse. Responsibilities: - Transport goods and materials between stores - Load and unload goods and materials from the truck - Ensure that all goods and materials are delivered safely and on time - Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure that it is in good working condition - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups - Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management - Follow all safety procedures and regulations Requirements: - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Standard work schedule 5-day week, Monday - Friday 40 hours. Typical schedule 8:00am - 4:30pm (subject to change) Requirements Loading & unloading a 26-foot truck and driving a set route to our stores to transfer merchandise The truck does not require a CDL but does require passing a DOT physical to legally operate The truck is automatic and has air brakes Help unload shipments received to the warehouse Pulling merchandise for store transfers Vacuum of upholstery products after heat treatment Assisting with general product repairs as directed
