POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Transportation Associate is responsible for supporting the transportation and logistics team through timely asset delivery, retrieval, and coordination across field operations and repair vendors. This role includes driving and transporting personnel and equipment, implementing asset retirement procedures, and serving as a key point of contact for vehicle logistics across multiple locations. . ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.") Performs delivery and retrieval of company assets, including vehicles, equipment, and tools, to and from field sites and repair facilities. Coordinates and conducts vehicle swaps in the field to support routine or emergency maintenance. Executes asset retirement procedures including the removal of telematics systems, toll tags, fuel cards, and related components. Transports field personnel to and from airports and designated field locations to reduce airport asset parking and optimize fleet usage. Maintains and inspects assigned transport vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness. Acts as primary point of contact for warehouse and field teams for transportation-related needs. Assists warehouse team with basic order fulfillment, packing, and inventory movements when not in transit. Utilizes handheld scanners, inventory systems, and GPS tools to support transportation and asset tracking. Ensures compliance with company safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record required. Proficiency in spoken English language. Predictable, in-person attendance required. . EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL: High school diploma or GED 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, transportation, or field operations. Strong customer service orientation and communication skills. . Preferred: Experience with logistics, fleet, or warehouse operations in energy or industrial sectors. Familiarity with telematics platforms (e.g., Samsara), fuel card programs, and GPS tools. . QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Reliable and self-motivated, able to manage time and prioritize effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with field and warehouse personnel. Demonstrates initiative and adaptability in dynamic work environments. Able to follow company procedures and safety guidelines precisely. .
