This role helps to foster self-reliance, care for the poor and the needy, and provide opportunities for giving and service by: helping members become economically and emotionally self-reliant; providing access to essential food and clothing items, helping members prepare for and respond to disasters; and providing humanitarian aid to relieve suffering; thus furthering the mission of the Church. Performs working level duties in receiving, stores, and/or shipping functions. Stocks material/commodities in a neat, orderly way; receives, inspects, and counts incoming material/commodities; rejects damaged items, records shortages, reviews, and interprets accompanying documentation; maintains records of stock received/shipped; and/or moves materials/ commodities between locations. Operates material handling, forklift, and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Worker 2 performs duties related to receiving, storing, and shipping functions. This includes stocking materials, inspecting incoming items, maintaining records, and operating material handling equipment.
