We operate five popular cafes in Marin and have a wholesale commercial bakery producing flatbread crackers, cookies and crisps in Petaluma with products sold nationally by fine retailers throughout the US. Duties include but are not limited to using a forklift or pallet jack to receive, store, and distribute all deliveries, as well as stock and restock items to their proper locations. It is also responsible for the receiving protocols required to ensure the success of the Approved Supplier Program (ASP). Local pick up and deliveries using a company box truck may also be a required duty. SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS Ability to lift 40 lb. safely and without injury to self or others Must be able to work on their feet most of the day Must work well in a team environment Basic computer skills Bilingual preferred English/Spanish. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School graduate or equivalent 1 - 2 years of recent Warehouse experience and/or grocery stocking experience preferred Forklift driving experience, we will certify Box truck driving experience preferred Possession of California Driver’s License PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Continually required to stand and walk Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries, and pushes Regularly required to climb, balance, kneel or crawl Continually required to talk or hear Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and manipulate product Regularly required to lift/push/carry items up to 40 pounds Regularly required to work near moving mechanical parts Occasionally required to drive on city streets and freeways in all types of weather and day/night conditions.
