WAREHOUSE WORKER JOB SUMMARY

Our company is searching for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our distribution centre based in Banbury OX16. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional, who doesn’t mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize speed and accuracy above all else, so we require a Warehouse Operative who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Our company offers a competitive salary; we also offer in-house training for the right applicant.

WAREHOUSE WORKER QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Driving Licence.
Previous warehouse/sortation experience preferred.
Ability to work on feet and carry heavy objects.
Problem-Solver.

Able to work as a team and be a team player.
Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment & work under pressure.

Responsibilities

REFERENCES MUST BE PROVIDED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.

50 Hours per week
Monday-Friday 16:00-02:00 or 19:30-05:30.
Starting at £35,000 p/a increasing to £37,073 p/a after completing 3 months successful probation with the company.

WAREHOUSE WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Unload Vehicles and reloading vehicles with the required kits for that route.
Receive kits for return or delivery and verify its contents
Count and stock kits based on inventory control log
Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately
Pack kits in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping
Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded
Scan containers to determine appropriate contents as well as end destination
Helping out logistics team in the office at certain times
