Warehouse B/Unassigned Driver Position (Part-Time)
Location: 495 Wilkinson Avenue, Unit 1, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours.
During the summer months, the role may require nearly full-time hours to cover vacation schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract for a minimum of 2 years
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous delivery experience is preferable; warehouse experience is an asset but not requiredNo Criminal Record (for which a pardon has not been granted).

• Unload and/or load trailers safely, correctly and quickly.
• Accurately sort & process, by deadlines, in-bound and outbound material.
• Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands, etc.
• Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and co-operative work environment.
• Handle shipments in a manner that minimizes damage.
• 100% accuracy in sort to minimize missorts.
• Paperwork is 100% complete, accurate and on time.
• Shipment processing complies 100% with Transport of Dangerous Goods requirements.
• Follow policy and procedures as outlined by operations supervisor and lead hand.
• Maintain a secure and safe working environment for all staff.
• Comply with Collective Agreement and Canpar Manual
• Other warehouse duties as assigned
• Alert operations management of service issues immediately as they occur.
