PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages Organizing the warehouse space Preparing orders for shipment Operating stock management tools; for example, a forklift, pallet jack Counting stock and keeping inventory records Any other duties as assigned SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills Successfully pass background checks including criminal history and drug screening Able to use forklift or pallet jack to move the pallets and/or products PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs Repetitive hand use is required, including pushing and pulling up to 50lbs, reaching above shoulder Frequent bending and squatting are required The ability to endure physically demanding shifts and repetitive tasks is crucial Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift-Carry, Push-Pull and Repetitive Posture. EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: High School diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of warehouse experience A forklift driver’s certification is preferred WORK CONDITIONS: (The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
