Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84104 Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour (Starting pay within this range depends on experience, skills, and education) Shift/Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team at our Natural Stone Slab Yard. In this role, you will help increase warehouse efficiency, support daily operations across manufacturing, production, and distribution, and ensure top-notch customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating heavy warehouse equipment (like forklifts and overhead cranes) and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Material Handling: Load and unload products safely from trucks, flatbeds, and shipping containers. Equipment Operation: Move heavy natural stone products throughout the warehouse utilizing forklifts, overhead cranes, and other machinery. Order Prep & Shipping: Prepare merchandise, process incoming stock, and stage finished products for secure shipping. Inventory & Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damages and report any issues to maintain high quality control standards. Maintenance & Facilities: Prepare metal A-frame return shipments, repair/rebuild wooden A-frames for LTL shipments, and manage waste disposal. Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by strictly adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). Note: Roles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of warehouse experience required. Equipment: 2+ years of experience operating warehouse machinery (forklifts, cranes, overhead cranes, etc.). Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 8 or more hours a day and comfortably lift/carry up to 80 lbs. Skills: Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and carefully follow structural instructions.
