Our Packing Operatives ensure that the items we ship are safely and securely packed to our customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General duties will include:

• Final inspection of orders where distribution is complete, to ensure conformance of picked/distributed goods to customer requirement
• To secure packing of checked consignments to prevent loss/damage in transmit to the delivery distribution
• Removing totes containing complete orders
• Distribution of totes of completed orders to packing benches
• Manual handling (placing items into boxes)
• Order processing using an in-house software
• Packing, sealing and labelling boxes
• Reporting any non-conformances you find
• To apply safe lifting and handling techniques at all times.
• To work in accordance with defined process maps and work instructions.
