Description
Manually pick products off shelves to fill orders. Transport in-progress orders to location of next item on order list Lift products manually Scan products using Radio Frequency (RF) units Determine order information using Radio Frequency (RF) units Fill boxes with packaging materials to avoid order damage Lift products to place them in boxes Follow safety procedures for equipment use to reduce potential for accidents Count product quantities to fill orders Transport picked orders to packing station to be prepared for shipping Build appropriate (correct size) box based on order, weight, and size Label boxes with barcodes for product and order tracking Understand safety procedures for picking products off shelves Follow packaging procedures for pallets to fill large orders High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 4 hours Able to perform with constant movement of the arms Production and Processing - Knowledge of techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods. Transportation - Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods including the relative costs and benefits. Abilities: Memorization - The ability to remember information such as words, numbers, pictures, and procedures. Perceptual Speed - The ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns. The things to be compared may be presented at the same time or one after the other. This ability also includes comparing a presented object with a remembered object. Visualization - The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged. Dynamic Flexibility - The ability to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with your body, arms, and/or legs. Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Near Vision - The ability to see things at a close distance Active Learning - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Active Listening - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
