Penske Logistics is looking for Second Channel Warehouse Worker to become part of an excellent team. Track all returned products as directed by the customer for close out of returns from various customers and entities. Work inside a Warehouse Management System to research inventory problems. Job Responsibilities: • Able to stand and lift 10-50lbs. throughout the entire shift. • Rebuild cartons, systematically processing damaged/stained cartons, emptying and repacking cartons when goods are damaged. • Ensure pallets are properly labeled/placarded • Operate a RF scanner to process and receive inventory, as well as utilizing the facility’s WMS system to systematically process damaged/reworked inventory. • Assist with building housekeeping and recovery including but not limited to facility housekeeping, emptying trash cans/wood bins • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Quality control • Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received • Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information • Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Responsibilities
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for tracking returned products and processing inventory issues using a Warehouse Management System. Additional duties include quality control, repacking damaged goods, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
