The warehouse/yard worker reports directly to the operations manager. Responsibilities include: * Loading company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices, which require lifting, and carrying merchandise, lumber, and building materials. * Pulling orders for deliveries. * Unloading company vehicles. * Prepare customer orders by collecting and retrieving merchandise/materials from storage areas in the yard. * Occasionally ride with the driver to the job site to help unload. * Ensure that inventory is consistently up to date and notify the supervisor of shortages and restocking needs. * Treat customers, contractors, and team members in a courteous, considerate, and cooperative manner. * Participate in the cleanliness of the facility during downtime, such as emptying trash bins, picking up lumber clubs, flat stocking, and any other related duties. * Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and stock merchandise as necessary. * Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures. * Report customer complaints to the Operations Manager/Supervisor. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications include: * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills * Basic math skills * Basic reading skills * Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. * Prior lumber yard experience is a plus * Prior building materials experience is a plus Schedule Monday to Friday 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 7 AM to 12 PM (subject to change based on volume)

Responsibilities

Responsible for loading and unloading company vehicles and preparing customer orders from the yard. Duties include maintaining inventory levels, operating a forklift, and ensuring facility cleanliness.
