Gillfor Distribution is seeking a Warehouse / Yard Worker to join our branch in London, Ontario. As part of our Lumber Yard team at our London Distribution Centre, you will work in a team environment reporting directly to our Yard Supervisor. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately assembling customer orders, serving customers in the yard, maintaining the presentation and organization of warehouse materials and loading customer trucks. This is a full-time, in-person position at our London, Ontario location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in lumber and building material industry
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with commitment to doing things right
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 60 lbs on a daily basis
• Forklift certification and minimum 1 year experience of operation

• Serve customers as they enter the yard
• Load and unload building materials operating a forklift
• Prepare, pick and pack customer orders
