JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous; certification is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role.
• Experience in construction or similar fields may be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and labelling products.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
