Description

Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand and capacity * Review, release, and monitor work orders to ensure timely execution * Coordinate with Production, Planning, and IE to maintain schedule adherence and resolve delays * Manage material allocation and ensure timely goods receipt (GR) and goods issue (GI) in ERP system * Ensure material availability to support uninterrupted production * Maintain accurate inventory records through regular reconciliation (system vs physical) * Control consumables and optimize inventory levels, including rework and excess materials * Track order status and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery * Communicate with internal stakeholders and overseas customers on order progress when required * Ensure shipment readiness with complete documentation and compliance * Identify and drive improvements in planning, inventory control, and system usage * Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and operational procedures Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field * Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, warehouse, or supply chain in manufacturing * Strong planning and coordination skills * Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations * Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) * Advanced Excel skills * Strong communication and stakeholder management * Good English proficiency Coherent is a global leader in lasers, engineered materials and networking components.
