Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Panama City, FL 32401 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Retail Job Title: Lincoln Warranty Clerk Job Summary The Lincoln Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing, submitting, and tracking warranty claims in accordance with Lincoln and Ford Motor Company policies. This role ensures accurate reimbursement for warranty repairs while maintaining compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare, submit, and follow up on Lincoln warranty claims in a timely manner Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and warranty eligibility Ensure claims comply with Lincoln/Ford warranty policies and procedures Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and management to resolve claim discrepancies Monitor claim rejections, denials, and chargebacks; take corrective action as needed Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, payments, and adjustments Process warranty parts returns and core returns according to manufacturer guidelines Stay current on Lincoln/Ford warranty policy updates, bulletins, and recalls Assist with internal audits and manufacturer warranty audits Provide support to the service department regarding warranty coverage and documentation Qualifications Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a warranty clerk (Lincoln/Ford experience preferred) Strong understanding of Lincoln/Ford warranty policies and procedures Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple claims simultaneously Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic accounting and administrative skills Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior automotive dealership warranty experience preferred Familiarity with Ford/Lincoln systems such as OASIS and FMC Dealer Work Environment Office-based role within a dealership service department Frequent interaction with service advisors, technicians, and parts department Standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed Compensation & Benefits (optional section) Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) or retirement plan options
