Description

GFL Environmental is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and processing warranty claims while ensuring full compliance with GFL standards and manufacturer requirements. You’ll work closely with our service, parts, and fleet teams to maintain accurate records, submit claims, and ensure timely resolutions. This is a key support role that helps keep our fleet operating efficiently and cost-effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in warranty administration, fleet services, or dealership operations is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warranty portal systems
  • Detail-focused with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ideally within the environmental services or transportation sector

Responsibilities
  • Submit warranty pre-authorizations and claims through various manufacturer portals
  • Track claim statuses, follow up on denials, and manage resubmissions
  • Communicate directly with OEMs and vendors to ensure prompt processing and resolution
  • Coordinate with mechanics, service managers, and parts teams for accurate documentation
  • Maintain detailed warranty records and monitor receivables and reimbursements
  • Ship defective parts and manage returns as per SOPs
  • Provide support to technicians and staff regarding warranty policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely closure and payment of all warranty transactions
