Robert’s Equipment is currently seeking a Warranty Administrator at our Walton, ON location. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for administering, processing and authorizing warranty claims based on manufacturer, supplier and dealerships criteria.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Completion of high school or vocational equivalent
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a sales administration or customer service role
  • Must be comfortable with current technology. Proficient with the following computer environments: Current Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of agricultural equipment is preferred

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with and provide service to customers in person or over the phone
  • Prepare and submit warranty claims for the company’s equipment to the equipment manufacturers
  • Manage the claim settlement between the company and the equipment manufacturers by obtaining credits and appeal claims to ensure proper compensation
  • Manage defective warranty parts and retention and returns warranty parts, if required
  • Support service desk with customer drop offs of equipment and account payments or inquiries
  • Submit and assists with WIT’s on warranty concerns and part technical concerns sent to manufacturers
  • Manage the manufacturer’s campaign and any recalls on products
  • Manage and updates pricing and promotes extended warranty options to customers on equipment
  • Follow up on warranty expirations that are approaching the deadline date
  • Communicate with technicians, sales department and customers on repairs in process
  • Receive and respond to emails from customers, suppliers and employees
  • Provides evening and weekend support to customers, as per rotation schedule
  • Manage and clean out warranty parts storage area
  • Organize claims from files and archives appropriate files from the office into storage, semi annually
  • Manages warranty reviews and safety checks with equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance to policy guidelines
  • Provides reception duties to the branch and all other duties as assigned
