POSITION PURPOSE: The Warranty Auditor processes, audits and communicates the centralized Warranty process for the company and is responsible for warranty claims being handled efficiently, accurately and timely according to manufacturer’s warranty policies ensuring the company full reimbursement. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ensure complete, accurate and timely Warranty Claim Filing into manufacturer systems according to manufacturer’s policies to ensure full reimbursement Review and proactively manage Open Warranty Tickets Process claims in their entirety to include payments, credits, denials, re-submittals, part returns, write-offs, etc. Perform weekly reviews and take appropriate action on unpaid Open Warranty AR Proactively audit and report to Shared Services Group (SSG) leadership on potential warranty claim denials and write-offs Assist in maintaining Warranty Part and Labor Rates according to manufacturer policies Maintain and provide relevant documentation for annual Warranty Audits Provide input and recommendations on Warranty Department matters Perform other duties as assigned minimum qualifications Basic Knowledge & Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills Strong attention to detail and deadlines Financial focus, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysis Ability to work proactively with remote branch personnel and vendor warranty departments Thorough knowledge of all systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to the Warranty Process Demonstrated Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Previous Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree equivalent experience preferred 2+ years’ experience in roles with billing responsibility and analytical decision making preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
