You will work directly with the warranty team to ensure that CQMs (Customer Quality Management) issues are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first. Be responsible for quality, including visual inspections of material before and after assembly, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors as it relates to breaker building and fulfilling shippers as identified by the warranty team. You will communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders / CQMs. Utilize various hand tools and a tape measure to accurately measure and install material by closely following established procedures for material handling, breaker building, and shipping of components for panelboards and switchboards due to post shipment related issues. Maintain expected progress of jobs / CQMs and communicate problem areas or part shortages. Receive, document, store, stage and issue all job-related material to satisfy warranty / CQM requirements. Support customer service requirements to include maintaining acceptable OTP and quick ships as necessary. Package, create and band equipment, parts, materials, products and accessories to minimize damage during shipment or staging and to create a safe work environment; apply labels and stickers as required for shipping. High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 2 years of manufacturing experience. Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Must live within 50 miles of Sumter SC to be considered. No relocation benefits offered. Written, verbal and computer business communication skills required Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Position Criteria: Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment. Able to direct and influence others without formal leadership authority. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs. Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint Working knowledge of Lean concepts Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup. Focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives, which include meeting needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
