Position Summary The Warranty Coordinator is responsible for administering and managing all warranty claims related to dump bodies and associated equipment. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, dealers, service centers, and internal departments to ensure efficient processing of warranty issues, accurate documentation, and timely resolution. The Warranty Coordinator ensures compliance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.   Key Responsibilities Warranty Administration * Receive, review, and validate warranty claims for dump bodies, subframes, hoists, and related components. * Ensure claims meet eligibility requirements according to company and manufacturer warranty policies. * Enter claims into the warranty management system and maintain complete, accurate documentation. * Process approved claims for credit, replacement parts, or reimbursement. Customer & Dealer Support * Serve as the primary point of contact for warranty-related inquiries from customers, dealers, and service technicians. * Provide guidance on warranty procedures, required documentation, and coverage guidelines. * Communicate claim status updates, approvals, and denials clearly and professionally. Technical Coordination * Coordinate with Field Service Technician on work orders; to include but not limited to, NHTSA recall, field campaigns, and regular warranty repairs. * Work with engineering, service, and production teams to review product failures, root cause findings, and repair recommendations. * Request and review necessary technical documentation such as photos, service reports, or diagnostic information. * Coordinate return material authorizations (RMAs) for defective parts, when required. Reporting & Compliance * Track warranty trends and common failure points to support continuous improvement initiatives. * Prepare internal reports on claim volume, cost, and resolution metrics. * Ensure warranty procedures comply with company policy and industry standards.         Qualifications Required * Previous experience in warranty administration, service coordination, or customer support (preferably in the truck equipment, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industry). * Strong understanding of mechanical or hydraulic systems used in dump bodies or truck upfitting. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Proficiency with warranty software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
