Description

Drive actions for NA warranty spend concerns jointly with QB / PD. Determine the liability for warranty claims and costs for externally supplied parts/components/systems. Track/investigate status of CPR ( Cost Per Repair) high contributors project status in JIRA. Drive the resolution of technical field concerns, related to supplier recovery, using the G8D problem solving tool and drive the escalation process between Product Development and Purchasing. Review and approve functional Warranty Part Requests Initiate actions jointly with QB using 13 Warranty Reduction Tools for high spend parts . Co- Lead – PAT meeting and FSQR meetings jointly with QB for driving actions.

Responsibilities

The Warranty Engineer will drive actions for warranty spend concerns and determine liability for warranty claims. They will also track project statuses and resolve technical field concerns using problem-solving tools.
