Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Grzegorz Lasko, the Head of Warranty&Service Engineering and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

  • Successfully completed higher education in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in coordinating technical projects, ideally in heavy machining.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in customer contact to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • High level of accountability, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in both German and English (written and spoken); French language skills are desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of additional software applications is a plus.
  • Initial experience or interest in complex mechanical systems and rail vehicles
  • Advanced understating of machine construction
  • Good understanding of the mechanics and physics with ability to analyse the reaction forces for a simple mechanical syste
