This person will ensure the success of fencing projects through repairs and exceptional customer service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Position may include additional functions not listed.)* Identify and resolve warranty issues in a timely and cost-effective manner Execute and repair warranties efficiently, accurately, and within established timelines Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, and the Butte Fence team Repair and Warranty fence technician QUALIFICATIONS: (Required knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, etc.) Fence installation experience: 1 year (preferred) Exceptional professionalism in customer service and outstanding written and verbal communication skills Ability to use a variety of computer-based systems to support the sales process Relevant background warranty or claims preferred Ability to maintain a professional and positive manner The ability to work independently as well as in a team setting Neat, clean, and professional appearance Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s core values: Honesty, Hardworking, Happy, Humble, and Hungry The following qualifications are mandatory for drivers: 1. Must be 21 years or older 2. Must have clean driving record 3. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (physical, environmental, travel, etc.) Regularly lift and/or move 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs The Warranty Specialist will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold. The Warranty Specialist must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way. He/she may at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection. This role uses standard hand power tools such as hammer, drill, nail gun, measuring tape, utility knife, and shovel Notes: *The functions described herein are not the only responsibilities and tasks to be performed by the individual occupying this position.
