We are currently seeking a Warranty Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our service and parts departments through accurate warranty administration and exceptional customer support.
The Warranty Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all warranty claims for AgWest Ltd. This role involves coordinating with service, sales, and parts teams, as well as communicating with manufacturers to ensure claims are submitted accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with guidelines. The Warranty Specialist plays a vital role in recovering costs, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary in business administration, agriculture, or a related field is an asset)
  • Previous experience in warranty administration, service coordination, or related role preferred
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, or similar industry is an asset
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with warranty policies, procedures, and documentation requirements to ensure maximum claim recovery is achieved.
  • Track claim statuses and follow up with manufacturers to resolve delays or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with service and parts departments to gather required repair documentation, photos, and invoices
  • Maintain accurate warranty records, files, and databases
  • Provide updates to managers on claim progress, approvals, and denials
  • Assist customers and internal teams with warranty-related questions or concerns
  • Monitor warranty trends and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Support auditing of warranty procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Perform other administrative duties as required
