Description

We are seeking an experienced Warranty and Sales Incentives Specialist to support dealership operations by ensuring compliance with GM Service Policies, warranty claims, and sales incentive programs. This role involves dealership audits, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with wholesale and retail teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of automotive repair, dealership processes, and proven field experience in managing dealer relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–7 years of experience in dealership operations, service, warranty, or sales incentives.
  • Previous dealer audit experience (warranty and/or sales incentives).
  • Wholesale field experience (District Manager or similar role).
  • In-depth knowledge of GM Service Policies, warranty claims, and sales procedures.
  • Strong technical background in automotive diagnosis and repair procedures (licensed mechanic is a plus).
  • Experience working directly with dealerships (wholesale or retail).
  • Strong computer proficiency:
  • Windows laptop operations (scanning, remote printing, data transfer).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Access databases and data analytics tools.
  • High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to manage adversity, change, and ambiguity.
  • Strong integrity, ethics, and values in all business dealings.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales incentive and warranty audits to determine compliance with established rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with dealerships to ensure accurate claims, reporting, and process adherence.
  • Collaborate with wholesale field teams and District Managers to address inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement in warranty and sales incentive claims.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Leverage technical expertise in automotive diagnosis and repair to validate dealer service claims.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, maintaining strong relationships with dealership personnel, wholesale teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Travel extensively to dealership locations (up to 32 weeks/year).
