Description Position Summary: The Warranty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and documenting HVAC system issues in the field. This role requires strong technical skills, clear communication, and the ability to represent Charlotte Mechanical professionally on job sites. Key Responsibilities: Accurately diagnose issues across a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems Perform repairs based on diagnostic findings in a timely and efficient manner Install and replace components including (but not limited to) TXVs, compressors, coils, and related parts Braze refrigerant lines as needed Diagnose refrigeration system issues Diagnose and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical issues Properly document all findings, repairs, and completed work Other responsibilities as assigned by management Coordination & Communication: Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure necessary parts are ordered Communicate effectively with CM superintendents and general contractors (GCs) Represent Charlotte Mechanical professionally when interacting with property managers, maintenance staff, and owners in multi-family environments Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to Raleigh, Charleston, Greenville, and Columbia as needed (within approximately a 4-hour radius from the office) Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in the field Professional communication and customer interaction skills EPA Universal Certification Benefits: Paid Overtime Vacation Pay Holiday Pay Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) ESOP
