Description Description H&R Agri-Power is currently seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join our service team as a Service/Warranty Writer. Job duties include Responsible for writing customer and internal repair tickets. Includes comprehending technician write up and figuring costs of bills. Process, file and track warranty claims. Research job codes for actions taken for repairs on warranty work. Coordinate with manager and prepare repair order for authorization as per warranty requirement Responsible for communicating with manufacturers, securing replacement parts and repairs for defective merchandise. Order parts for service repairs. Responsible for taking phone calls and scheduling warranty/regular customer repairs. Be able to interpret parts diagrams/schematics and translate repair information. Assist the manager in maintaining accurate and on time reports/tickets relative to any service done through the department Candidates for the position should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be customer service oriented and have a strong work ethic. Requirements Qualifications Candidates should also have a basic knowledge of agriculture equipment, be able to work independently, multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Candidates must be mature, prompt and professional in every way. Specific hours worked per week vary so some flexibility and a willing attitude are a must.
