Arnold Bros Transport Ltd. is looking to add an experienced member to their Winnipeg shop. Wash Bay attendants are vital to keeping our equipment safe and clean. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Wash Bay Attendant will possess organizational skills, strong customer service, and the ability to multi-tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education
  • 1 year experience required for inspection and repair preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize the daily responsibilities using multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in extreme temperatures
  • Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities
  • Identify equipment that needs to be washed and move equipment to the wash bay.
  • Inspect equipment for any inoperative components (i.e. lights, hanging wires, general damage).
  • Wash the exterior of trucks and trailers as well the interior of trailers.
  • Create work order to ensure any work/washing is documented.
  • Document and execute minor repairs in a time and cost-effective manner and communicate major repairs to Shop Foreman.
