Description

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Wash Bay Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, degreasing, and preparing machinery, parts, and equipment in a manufacturing setting. This role ensures that all components meet cleanliness standards before assembly, painting, or shipping. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities * Operate high-pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean industrial parts and machinery * Inspect items for cleanliness and damage before and after washing * Use appropriate cleaning agents and degreasers in accordance with safety guidelines * Handle incoming dirty parts and organize workflow for efficient processing * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area * Safely move and position parts using hoists, carts, or forklifts (if certified) * Follow company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and hazardous material handling * Record and report cleaning results and any damaged parts or equipment * Assist with routine maintenance of wash bay equipment * Support production by ensuring timely cleaning and readiness of parts for next stages * Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives * Assist with light material handling and shop cleanup as needed * Notify maintenance or supervisor of equipment issues or supply shortages * Crosstrain in other areas (e.g., parts staging or assembly support) when necessary * Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience in cleaning, or general manufacturing preferred * Ability to use hand tools, materials, and equipment safely * Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency * Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks * Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team * Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed Benefits * Pivotal Health Solutions offers a complete benefits package including 401K, paid time off, paid holidays and healthcare benefits.
