Description Position Summary: The Wash Rack Technician, under direction of the Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Manager, ensures that the facility and equipment are consistently in a clean, safe state and comply with all company and OSHA standards. Essential Functions: Wash out toters, packing blades, and company vehicles Inspect vehicles and equipment and replenish fuel and other fluids Load/Unload container trailers Inspect tires Report any defects on company equipment Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community Actively demonstrates Tiger Sanitation’s core values in daily tasks and communications: Professionalism, Respect, Accountability and Communication Ability to demonstrate decision making skills that align with Tiger Sanitation’s 4 Step Decision Making Process Ability to operate pressure washing equipment to effectively clean toters, blades and company vehicles Ability to act independently Ability to collaborate with coworkers Ability to prioritize activities in order to achieve, individual and team, expectations and goals Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent of education and experience, preferred Must obtain a valid driver’s license, class C license at minimum Working Conditions: This position will be based in a non-climate-controlled building with extended periods of standing, squatting and using manual dexterity to operate pressure washing equipment. Responsibilities
The Wash Rack Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe facility and equipment by washing toters, packing blades, and company vehicles under the direction of the Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Manager. Essential duties include inspecting vehicles, replenishing fluids, loading/unloading trailers, inspecting tires, and reporting any equipment defects.
