WORK YOU’LL DO

As a Tax Manager within Deloitte’s National Tax Controversy Services Interest Analyzer practice, you will be part of an experienced team of professionals committed to assisting clients with federal interest matters, resolving clients’ federal tax controversies, and providing clients with in-depth knowledge of IRS practice and procedure. Deloitte’s National Tax Controversy Services professionals work to resolve a wide variety of issues with the IRS and are well-versed in achieving the best possible outcomes on behalf of Deloitte’s clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Prepare federal interest computations for varying purposes including financial statement reporting, tax planning, Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") and litigation settlement, interest reviews, and IRS refund claims.
• Assist clients and Deloitte engagement teams with federal interest and IRS account related matters.
• Prepare written correspondence to the IRS and Deloitte engagement teams regarding federal interest and IRS account related matters.
• Communicate with the IRS on behalf of clients to resolve federal interest and IRS account related matters.
