  • Full-time permanent role (based on 35 hours per week)
  • Salary: $77k - $82k + Super + Fortnightly RDO
  • Based at the Hadfield Depot
  • Ability to transfer or take LSL (Long Service Leave) within Local Government
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is a permanent role in the Waste Services Unit, responsible for providing high-quality, customer and administrative support, necessary to ensure our essential waste services continue to meet service excellence. The functions include:

  • Customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Responding to enquiries and preparing templated correspondence
  • Arranging for deliveries of bins and caddies to support waste services
  • Collating data and preparing basic reports
  • Administrative support, including taking minutes, processing invoices and ordering supplies and general administration support for the unit.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRE TO PERFORM THE ROLE

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and deliver excellent customer service within a diverse community.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar dynamic office environment, doing data entry, preparing reports and general correspondence, answering phone calls and responding to customer enquiries.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work collaboratively to deliver team priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and where necessary work independently to deliver personal outcomes
  • Experience with processing invoices and contract payments is desirable
