WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WASTE AND LOGISTICS CONSULTANT WITH EXPERIENCE IN WASTE AND/OR LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, WASTE TECHNOLOGIES, MASTER PLANNING, OR BUILDING DESIGN TO DELIVER INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT AND FOSTER THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY.

The role can be based from either our Bath, London, Manchester, or Edinburgh offices with hybrid working.
Buro Happold’s Waste Operations, Logistics and Flow team advise on building and city level waste generation, collection and treatment systems. We work with design teams to ensure waste and deliveries can efficiently move through the building. Our team of engineers and scientists have worked on over 260 projects in 40 different countries.
We are looking for a new team member to join us in one of our central city offices. This role will include developing waste and logistics strategies, waste generation demands, back of house route planning, waste and goods storage, transport methods and waste treatment options. We work closely with other engineering and scientific disciplines, leading a range of built environment projects that range from sport venues, museums to entire new cities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic background in waste management, engineering, logistics or environmental science
  • Experience in waste management or related fields
  • Working towards relevant Chartership
