Your Purpose An exciting opportunity exists for a world class Waste Management Staff to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”. The Waste Management Staff assists with the waste management facility in compliance with company policies. Your Impact •When permitted and advised by the Environment Officer, or after Wate Management Lead’s instructions assigned in accordance to the Environmental Officer directions, perform the discharge at sea of the comminuted permitted (and only) food waste (if applicable) •Ensure the recovery and storage of the incinerator ash from the incinerator. •Crush glass bottles and other glass (or similar) permitted waste material. •Sort and compact the aluminum. Storing this material in permitted areas (not in bin or trolley-wash areas). •Perform the waste separation according with the instruction of the garbage . •He has to ensure that all the operations are carried out with respect of the ship’s safety. The Waste Management Staff assists with the waste management facility, performing tasks such as discharging permitted food waste at sea, recovering incinerator ash, crushing glass, and sorting/compacting aluminum according to instructions. They must ensure all operations respect the ship's safety standards.
