We are hiring a Waste Service Coordinator in the Corporate office to coordinate the movement of waste, waste tracking, profiling and assist in assuring compliance with all waste and environmental regulations. This role will take incoming customer calls related to service requests, issues, invoice questions and on-line service support. The waste service coordinator will directly support the Business Development Managers to ensure customer satisfaction. Accurate daily data entry Other duties as assigned Requirements Education and Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience in the environmental, waste management, and/or industrial service sectors. Experience in special waste, solid waste, or recycling industry preferred. Desire to have direct customer contact & effectively communicate both orally and in written form. Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships at all levels within the organization. Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds. Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders. May occasionally deal with heights. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees and managers. Effective conflict resolution abilities. Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form. Ability to read, write and do mathematics. Ability to wear Personal Equipment, including Respiratory Protection. Consist of both office setting and physical jobsite. Able to work in confined spaces when needed.
